What is the purpose of electriciansnet.com.au?

electriciansnet.com.au is a new innovative industry-based website that will eventually link the various branches of the electrotechnology industry on the one domain.

Our aim is to create a website that will act as a central hub for the diverse fields of the electro-technology industry, where you can source information and developments in the industry.

We also anticipate that electriciansnet.com.au will assist other trades when it comes to locating the right specialist for a specific job.

As a member of the general public you can find the local electrician or technician suitable for your job requirements. For example; you could locate someone who knows how to set up a home theatre, install a telephone line or even how to repair a washing machine in your area. Just click on the 'Directory' icon on the left and start searching.

August Update

The directory is gradually increasing in numbers as new members are signing up each week. Our website is also making its way through the 'Google' ladder as it is now found on the first page when searching for 'electricians' in Australia. We are still getting a really great interest from various groups. The monthly 'hits' is still around 15 000. Our website is becoming a reference point for lots of other websites thus increasing the number of links.

Also, our 'Jobs' section is becoming more widely used and getting more attention each month.

We would like to thank TOSHIBA Lighting for giving us their support in promoting our website and for becoming our first official sponsors. We are also listed in over a dozen directories, which generate traffic back to electriciansnet.com.au. At the same time we have paid for priority listings in ferret.com.au and in hotfrog.com.au as well. electriciansnet.com.au is also regularly advertised in The Circuit Magazine, which is a monthly electrical contractors' publication available at most electrical wholesalers.

The 'Training and Courses' page now offers some very interesting contents. NECA has launched its 'EcoSmart Electricians' program.
